AAERT AWARDS NEAL R GROSS COURT REPORTER OF THE YEAR
American Association of Electronic Reporting Transcribers (AAERT) held its annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas in June.

Bothell, WA (June 2008) At the 2008 annual meeting of the American Association of Electronic Reporting Transcribers (AAERT ) Neal R. Gross was awarded the “2008 Court Reporter of the Year.” This award is given annually in recognition of exceptional achievement in the industry and is the result of a peer reviewed competitive process.

In attendance were AAERT members from across the US as well as Australia, Bermuda, Canada, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Nigeria, and Tobago. Gross was pleased to have been selected to receive this award. “I have been in the business for over 30 years and have seen many changes in the industry and am particularly fascinated with the advancements in technology that have significantly improved the performance of both court reporters and transcribers today.” Gross has been active in legislative and PAC affairs for AAERT for many years and has also made significant administrative and technical contributions to the increase in efficiency, reliability, and accuracy of court reporting services in a variety of applications. Margaret Morgan, current president of the board of AAERT stated, "We are extremely grateful for Neal's service and commitment to our association.  We rely on his knowledge and expertise to address the ever increasing demands for electronic reporting and transcribing."
